Sneak Peek: {Newborn} Ashton: Rexburg Idaho Photographer

Yesterday James and I took some pictures for Amber and Trevor of their new week old son Ashton. You can't really see in this picture, but let me tell you - this little guy has a load of hair to show off. He sure is one cute little dude.

Little Leighton: Rexburg, Idaho Newborn Photographer

Here is Erika and Jack's little girl Leighton. I was lucky enough to snap a quick picture of her smiling. I LOVE it.

I wish there had been more time to get more of a variety of shots of all her cute hair bows, hats, and headbands Erika brought. I will say that James will more than likely be very grateful if we don't end up having a girl (like he thinks) because I can definitely see myself becoming pretty obsessed with all the cute girl things that I now know are out there.

Her great grandmother quilted this blanket for her by hand. So gorgeous.

I love the flower headband and shoes. Too cute.

Check out those tiny toes... Unbelievable.

More pics from Michelle's Maternity Session: Rexburg Idaho Photographer

Here are some more of the maternity pictures James took. I thought he did a great job. Much better than I had expected. He has a talent of making you feel beautiful, when you would imagine all the pictures to make you look just as large and awkward as you feel. Thanks honey. You did a great job.

Here's our 'studio' shot... We don't know if we're having a boy or girl baby, hence the boy and girl shoe. We'll see next month. :)

The F. Family: Rexburg Idaho Family Photographer

We visited my sister this weekend, and we had a quick minute to take some pictures for them. Unfortunately it was at noon, which is about the worst possible time to take pictures, so we found the only shady spot we could.

The girls: Elizabella (4) and Siena (11 1/2 months)

Mom and the girls. Dad with McKay (William wasn't interested in getting his picture taken)

William (7) and McKay (who turned 6 just a few days before this picture was taken)

And of course I had to throw in a picture of the other little ones that were there. This is Jeanette's girl Allison (10 months), and our Jack.

Danielle and Chris Wedding: Rexburg Idaho Wedding Photographer

One of my best friends growing up's little sister, Danielle, got married this weekend and asked us to do her pictures. It was a lot of fun to be there at Danielle's wedding and to catch up with her family. She and Chris have the most adorable daughter too, as you can see below.

You have to admit: They definitely know how to have a fun time. :)

Michelle's Maternity Session

Well we finally found some time in our busy schedules to take some family pictures - or more specifically, maternity shots for Michelle. We decided that since we have less than 35 days until the estimated arrival of the little peanut, it was about time to get some maternity pictures in. The weather never seems to like us, so we didn't have a very long shoot because Michelle wanted Jack out of the cold, but we were able to get some pretty good shots in I thought. I'll have Michelle post more when she gets a chance to look through them.

We're excited for the baby to come next month. Hopefully we'll have things calmed down a little by then so we can get a little more prepared and set up for another family member.

Dawson Newborn Session: Rexburg Idaho Photographer

Here are some more pictures from our Newborn photo shoot I did of baby Dawson from a few weeks ago. I had a lot to choose from. He is one darling baby don't you think?

I love these shots of Dawson with his mom. Emily is a gorgeous model anyways, but its fun to see just how tiny this little guy really is. So adorable. We tried to get some cut bare bun shots in there with Dawson, but he did not like it very much. After trying a few different positions we decided he liked his diaper a little too much so we have a lot more of those shots. :)

Erika Maternity Session: Rexburg Idaho Photographer

Here are some more shots of Erika's maternity session from a few weeks ago. She and her husband Jack were a lot of fun to shoot, and we are looking forward to taking their newborn pictures of their little girl Leighton this week.

Sneak Peek Erika Maternity Shoot: Rexburg Idaho Maternity Photographer

Erika and Jack got these pictures in the day before their scheduled induction with their daughter. We're glad we were able to find some places to shoot away from the horrible Rexburg wind, and I think we got some pretty amazing shots. Here is your sneak peek of their maternity session. Congratulations you two!

Newborn Dawson Sneak Peek: Rexburg Idaho Newborn Photographer

While James was out of town last week I did my first photo shoot on my own since October. It actually went really well and we got a lot of cute shots in of this little guy. He was just a day shy of three weeks old, and so tiny. We took pictures of Dawson's mom for her maternity shoot last month, so it was fun to get to finally meet the little guy. More pictures to come soon.

More of Baby William: Rexburg Idaho Newborn Photographer

Here are some more pictures of baby William's shoot from Sunday. He was one very alert little boy for the few hours we were there. Check out those tiny feet!

Kae's Maternity Session: Rexburg Idaho Maternity Photographer

Here are some more pictures of Kae and Chris' maternity session we took a few weeks ago. They are expecting a baby girl any time now and we're excited to meet her when we do her newborn photo shoot. Enjoy.

(I wanted to do a shot like this with James and I, so we did a test run and I thought it turned out rather cute)

Kae's mother flew over from Japan to help her out the last little bit of Kae's pregnancy and to help her when the baby comes. It was the first time she visited the college campus, so it was fun to capture them talking together here.
