Baby Elena {Rexburg, Idaho Photographer}

Three Months Already. It seems like just yesterday she was born, and now she's laughing and cooing to us all the time. They grow up so quickly their first year. It seems like taking pictures is the only way to get time to stand still long enough to realize just how tiny and precious they are when they're so little.

D Family Photo Shoot {Rexburg Idaho Photography}

I wanted to get an updated family photo with our new baby girl, and since Jack is to the point where a tripod definitely won't captivate his attention we went searching for photographers. We found one by the name of Jaclyn Davis, fell in love with her work - and she was nice enough to agree to a photo swap (we took their pictures, she took ours).

We had a lot of fun on this shoot. Jackie and her husband Dane were really fun together, and their daughter Brooke was so cute. Seriously, one very adorable girl!

We haven't gotten our pictures back (but they are in the mail so any day now!), but I'll let you know if Jackie posts any on her blog or not since I'm not sure if I should post them on here. I'm excited to get them back though! Seriously, check her site out. She's awesome.

We aren't done with the pictures yet but I thought I would post just a few of this fun family.


Baby Phoebe: We literally have about a dozen of her fun smiles caught on camera.

And a quick one of Gwendolyn. Michelle tried talking me into having Elena's middle name be Gwendolyn (which is a form of Wendy- her sister/best friend's name) when we were going through baby names so she was really excited to actually meet a Gwen. :)

W Family: Free Photo Shoot {Rexburg, Idaho Photography}

Remember that Photo Contest from last month Michelle keeps mentioning? Well this is the other family that won one of the free photo shoots from that! We actually took their son Logan's newborn pictures a little while ago, so they were happy to get some updated family photos and some pictures of Logan's older brother Ethan.

Newborn: Maddison {Rexburg, Idaho Photographer}

My friend Calvin had a baby girl a few weeks ago and I was able to take some pictures for them. And the bonus? They barbequed me up a hamburger for lunch in between picture taking. Can't ask for anything better than that. Congrats Calvin. She's one sweet little girl.

K&G Engagement {Rexburg Idaho Photographer}

Kassi and Garry are the type of people that you are instantly drawn to. They were such a genuine, fun, happy couple and it was a blast to take their photos. Like I mentioned before, you couldn't help but smile when you saw the two of them together. Such an adorable couple.

Rosalee {Rexburg Idaho Photographer}

Rosalee is Zeke's sister who won the free photo shoot from us for entering our photo contest we held in August. (Wow, that was a lot of links for one sentance...) When little brother Zeke had had enough of his photo shoot we got quite a few fun shots of big sister.



James and I are used to being around toddlers, having one ourselves. (: But we found ourselves in awe of this little girl!!! She is just three weeks older than Jack making her three months shy of being 2 - and already this little girl can talk in paragraphs. She went around our home naming our toys and explaining why she chose that name, telling us stories, talking to her brother like a kindergartner, singing church songs. Honestly I felt like she was a 6 year old trapped in a one year old body. So awesome. We think she's seriously a baby genius! Really Marie I think you should video tape her because this is not a common occurrence! Amazing.

And aside from the fun time of visiting with Marie and James and their beautiful family, Rosalee even taught Jack a new word from the photo shoot that he likes to tell us all the time now: Cheese. (Say cheese!)
