Spring Break = Disneyland

As James mentioned before we went on an awesome family vacation to Disneyland during our Spring Break. We had an absolute blast! We were there for 4 days and still didn't get to do everything we wanted.

Here are a few pics we took on our vacation. Enjoy.

Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean. Flashes were not allowed on the ride, and we never would have gotten this pic if we didn't have such a low F stop. I think its pretty cool.

James snapped a pic of my sister Julie and I on the Grizzly River Run while the kids were napping in the shade.

Peter Pan and Darth Maul... What could be better?

Train ride = Dinosaurs. Our son Jack loved this part of the ride.

Some more Peter Pan.

Fun Dance Number in New Orleans Square.

If you get the chance to go to Disneyland - GO. You won't regret it. It is amazing. We are officially Disneyland addicts. We want to go back in December - maybe this time with out the kids and just staying one or two days. (Though it is SO fun with kids - so I don't know if James will be able to talk me in to leaving them home)

Jayden Newborn {Rexburg Newborn Photographers}

Remember this cute couple James took pictures of in December?

Well, they have a new baby! I had the privilege of taking their daughter, Jayden's, pictures before our spring break. Isn't she a doll?

Aren't they such a cute family?

And a big thanks to Jayden's parents, Sally and Jacob, for helping keep my kids sidetracked and entertained during the shoot. Elena woke up early from her nap, James had school, and Jack was being as mischevious as always, so I couldn't have done a successful shoot with out their help. Thank you!

James-Myler: Newborn Shots {Rexburg, ID newborn photography}

I took these pictures of my newest nephew James-Myler last weekend when he was 4 days old. He was a few days "late" (according to his due date) but boy was he worth the wait.

James snagged this shot for me. It's nice having someone taller than you around. :) I wanted to get a shot showing off that long hair. Alan teases that they have to give him a haircut to be BYUI appropriate since the hair covers the top of his ears. He also has a cowlick like Jack does, but James-Myler's is in the front so he has the coolest fo-hawk. I love it.

Little details

My brother was holding him to calm him down and by the time I turned around both he and James-Myler were sound asleep. I really like this picture because it is completely in the moment.

Congrats Al and Liz. You guys are amazing parents and we're so glad James-Myler is here! He is ADORABLE.

Engagment Photogrpaher near Rexburg Idaho

A while back I worked Craigos pizza in Rexburg and while I was there I worked with some awesome people. One of those awesome people happens to be Buddha. She is now engaged and she called us up one day to take her pictures. Both Michelle and I were way excited to do it and I really think that we got some fun photos. They were such a fun couple to work with. So here are some of the pictures.

On another note I been doing a little more research on lenses and I have feel in love with a 50 mm f 1.4 lens that I think could not only benefit us but could be way fun to have. So if you agree with me you should leave a comment and tell Michelle that I am right.

Engagment Photos in Rexburg Idaho

So it has been a little while since the last time that we have posted anything on here. We have a few more clients that we would like to show off and we just haven't found the time to get them up online. I think it is due to the fact that we have been planning our family's Disneyland trip almost non-stop. So now I am trying to squeeze in some blogging time somewhere in my work schedule. Does anyone else find it hard to find time?

Anyway here are some pictures of this lovely couple that we had the opportunity to photograph. It looks like it was a nice day but if I remember correctly it was somewhere around 7 degrees that morning. Rexburg weather can be fun, but I love the light that Rexburg provides and the shots that we got.

Engagement Photographers - Rexburg Idaho

So the other week we went out to take some engagement photos and I wore my tennis again. I still haven't learned that tennis and knee high snow are not good companions. Even though my legs got cut up from the icy snow and I was freezing, I had a great time with this couple. Plus I think that we got some great photos.
